4th NFTN Conference 2026

The 4th Nordic Field Trials Network (NFTN) Conference was held in Aarhus, Denmark, from January 21st to 23rd, 2026. The three-day programme combined field excursions, technical presentations and networking activities for professionals working with field trials, agricultural research and advisory services across the Nordic and Baltic region.

Hosted at Agro Food Park with field visits organised in collaboration with Danespo, Nordic Seed, AU Food, SEGES Innovation and the Danish Technological Institute (DTI). The conference focused on practical methods, experimental design, digital tools and data use in field trials. Participants gained insight into Danish and Nordic field trial activities, including topics such as biochar, nitrate leaching, biostimulants, nitrous oxide measurements, new crop types and drone‑based assessments, while sharing experiences and perspectives from several countries.

We also organised joint transport and common activities (field tour, networking dinner and conference dinner) to support interaction and collaboration between participants.
